Services Division

The Support Services Division, under the command of Captain Jennifer Tejada is responsible for the support elements of the Police Department.

These elements include the Technical Services Bureau (Records and Communications), Personnel and Training, Evidence, Crime Prevention Bureau and facilities management.

The Novato Police Department maintains its own Dispatch Center. Dispatchers receive and handle calls, including 911 calls, 24 hours a day. In 2007 the Novato Police Department Dispatch Center answered 51,167 Emergency and 911 calls. In addition they handled 1058 emergency call transfers from the CHP.
